What is a Riot Feminist?
A Riot Feminist is someone who is a riot grrrl and a feminist. A riot feminist feels strongly about riot grrrl, feminism, intersectionality, and equality. Riot Grrrl isn’t very intersectional but riot feminists want it to be and think it should be. Riot Feminists can be women, men, non-binary, trans, LGBTQ+, young, old, rich, poor, etc. Riot Feminists come from different cultures, ethnic backgrounds, religions, and upbringings.
Note: A riot feminist isn’t actually a type of feminist but I think it should be. This is how I’d describe myself.
